On Facebook I pretend to be customer service representatives, city government officials, news stations, megachurch pastors, and politicians.

I use the material that comes from that to make a visual stand up comedy set. My show has been at San Francisco Sketchfest from 2017 – 2019.

My podcast, Hope This Helps, is a parody of a corporate business interview podcast. I interview the leading thinkers in business and innovation.

Before moving to Los Angeles in 2016 I spent three years performing stand up comedy in Cleveland, Ohio where I became a regular performer at Funny Stop Comedy Club. I then spent five years in Atlanta, GA where I became a regular performer at Laughing Skull Lounge, The Punchline, Uptown Comedy Corner, Star Community Bar, and Kat’s Cafe.

As a traditional stand up comedian, I have been an opening act for Maria Bamford, John Witherspoon, Rickey Smiley, Big Jay Oakerson, Donnell Rawlings, Josh Blue, Nick Kroll, Jason Mantzoukas, Seth Morris, Nick Griffin, Heather McDonald, George Wilburn, Clayton English, Jimmy Shubert, Thomas Dale, Manon Mathews, Michael Colyar, Rich Vos, Neal Brennan, and Bruce McCulloch.

In addition to SF Sketchfest, my visual stand up show has also been at Cape Fear Comedy Festival, Accidental Comedy Festival, and comedy venues Laughing Skull Lounge, StarBar, and Relapse Theater in Atlanta, Union Hall, QED, and Annoyance Theater in New York, Comedy Corner Underground in Minneapolis, Voodoo Comedy Playhouse in Denver, Comedy Underground and Jewelbox Theater in Seattle, PianoFight, Castro Theater, and Gateway Theater in San Francisco, and Comedy Central Stage, Lyric Hyperion Theater and The Broadwater in Los Angeles.

I have appeared as a witness, plaintiff, and defendant on three separate court television shows. (My friends and I made up cases and sued each other.)

I wrote and performed short sketches for TBS and have been a guest on NPR’s Morning Edition.

My writing was the subject of a Western Kentucky University student’s masters theses: Satirical Facebook Pages as Counter-Institutional Resistance.
